Sales, or the art of selling, does not really need to be complicated.

Sure; sales gurus and marketers and other influencers will tell you that sales is tough and that you must buy their 8-week program, or their mastermind podcast to be able to succeed and to learn the ‘’secrets’ of sales.

But really, selling doesn’t have to be so hard or complicated.

Put ever so simply, a sales person is only a problem solver. The best sales people I have worked with and the most successful entrepreneurs simply listen to the problems of their prospects and sells the solution – it really is as simple as that.

So, if you want to see an increase in your sales, simply become a problem solver.


Sure, there is a lot more to it than that in the grand scheme of things but problem solving is the foundation that holds all other sales psychologies and practices together.

It is no different than the classing consultative selling approach to sales. Let’s think about the last time you went into the doctor’s office; the doctor didn’t prescribe you something before you have had a chance to answer any questions. A doctor will sit back, ask you relevant questions about you, and your symptoms and then prescribe the solution.

Problem solving.

So, I implore you; don’t go out there trying to sell products or services to people who simply have no need or desire for those things.

Find your target audience, ask questions, listen, and then prescribe the relevant solution for their needs.

Sales truly can be as simple as that!
