Sales Book Review: Little Red Book of Selling, Jeffrey Gitomer

Jeffrey Gitomer has featured twice in our top ten list of sales books, and is in fact the only author to do so; and his Little Red Book of Selling is a very welcome addition to the list.

Similar to what we discussed in our review of The Sales Bible, The Little Red Book of Selling is a fantastic read that really draws out Gitomer’s fun and enjoyable personality.

One thing you will notice with this book is the fact that it is really beautifully put together. As with Gitomer’s other ‘Little book of…’ series, this is a small hard back book with a fabric style cover. Inside, the pages are colour printed which really helps to break the words up, alongside the great cartoons and illustrations that once again help to break the monotony that can sometimes occur when reading sales books.

Jeffrey Gitomer’s humour is ever present throughout this book and is even found in the simplest of details; his constant use of ‘0.5’ additions to lists is just one of them; for example, this book includes Gitomer’s 12.5 Red Principles of Sales Greatness that includes everything you can need to help you to see an increase in your sales.

All in all, this is a beautifully presented book that will look fantastic on your book shelf. But not only that, it is bursting with great sales advice put together in a friendly, customer focused style.
